Where we design, manufacture and distribute surge protection devices worldwide, we offer exciting career opportunities in engineering, production, customer service and sales at our home office Salt Lake City, Utah location and in Barcelona, Spain.
The following briefly describes some of the career opportunities at EFI depending on your interests, background and experience.

Engineering
We employ professional engineers with specialties in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical design and application of TVSS surge protection products. Whether you design or implement our new products, you’ll enjoy working at the cutting edge of new technologies and product innovations.

Production/Manufacturing
Those who are good at working with their hands in a team environment, will enjoy working on one of our production lines where we assemble and package multiple products. Positions in this area may include assemblers, work cell leaders, material handlers and machine operators. We have multiple levels for these positions based on your ability and experience. Prior production experience is helpful, but not required for these positions.

Employees who most succeed in these positions have the following skills:

• Versatility / Flexibility – able to work in multiple areas performing different functions and willing to work wherever they are needed.
• Dexterity – exhibits good eye hands coordination in putting things together using hand tools in a fast, yet high quality manner.
• Team-oriented – enjoys working as part of a team showing a willingness to help each other.
• Detail-oriented – ability to catch minute details to ensure high product quality.

Sales/Marketing/Customer Service
No matter your position, the customer is the central focus as we provide products and services that give peace of mind and assurance that their electrical equipment is protected by the best surge protection in the industry.
Our professional sales team is made up of specialists who take EFI products into new business areas, those who serve existing accounts and technical customer service positions.

We also have opportunities in technical product application, information systems, accounting and human resources.
